Robinsons Malls, in partnership with Mind Museum and USAID, has announced the launch of its Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room at Robinsons Palawan.
Set from June 29 to 30 amid Environment Month, the escape room aims to raise awareness on local biodiversity and conservation efforts, providing an engaging and educational experience for mallgoers.
“The Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room is a unique opportunity for us and our valued partners to present the different biodiversity challenges while highlighting the significance of sustainable practices and conservation,” said Joel Lumanlan, VP for marketing and operations at Robinsons Malls.
Each session runs for one hour and 30 minutes and accommodates up to 15 people per slot. Phones, cameras, and similar gadgets are also prohibited inside the room to keep the experience immersive. Meanwhile, children aged six to 12 should be accompanied by a guardian.
“We are very excited to partner with Robinsons Malls for this very unique and highly engaging and most relevant project with USAID RTI through SIBOL, which is the Biodiversity Crisis Escape Room,” said Maria Isabel Garcia, managing director at Mind Museum. “Here, we can mimic the actual conversations happening in communities and learn how to work together to solve the crisis.”
Mallgoers must pre-register and present a receipt from any Robinsons Palawan store worth at least ₱500 for adults and ₱250 for children up to 12 years old to get escape room tickets.
