Man wanted for 14 counts of cybercrime collared in GMA, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities arrested a man wanted for 14 counts of cybercrime in General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) on Thursday, June 27.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as alias Remelito.

The police got a tip through their Viber hotline that the rank seven most wanted person – municipal level was hiding in Barangay F Reyes.

Alias Remelito was collared by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court 5th Judicial Region, Branch 21 in Naga City.

The court recommended a bail of P10,000 for each count of violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

Alias Remelito is now under police custody.
