Pasay City recognized for meritocracy, excellence in human resource management

The city government of Pasay was given the bronze award by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) during its Regional Human Resource Practitioner Congress on Wednesday, June 26 held at Century Park Hotel in Manila.

Pasay City Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) head Atty. Maverick Sevilla, who represented Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, said the CSC awarded the city government through the CSC-National Capital Region (NCR) Resolution No. 2300870.

Sevilla explained that the resolution specifies the implementation of human resource management system in accordance with the efficient documentation system under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management or (PRIME HRM).

He said Pasay was among the three cities in Metro Manila who received the bronze award. The other local government units (LGUs) are Makati and Pasig.
