BOC intercepts 2 Koreans for not declaring P3.2-M worth of cash at NAIA


Two Koreans were intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for carrying cash equivalent to more than P3.2 million, the Bureau of Customs said on Monday, June 25.

In a statement, the BOC said the two Koreans were asked to explain why they were carrying huge sum of Korean Won which were spotted during a random inspection of hand-carry bags.

They were also asked why they did not declare it to the BOC as a matter of protocol.

The two Koreans arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 at 11:08 a.m.
