Woman dubbed drug queen nabbed in Cebu City

CEBU CITY â€“ A woman dubbed as drug queen in Barangay Calamba here was arrested in a buy-bust operation before dawn on Monday, June 17.

The Waterfront Police Station cornered the suspect, Daling, in Barangay Tejero here at around 2:45 a.m.

Police said more than a kilo of suspected shabu worth at least P7 million was seized from the suspect.

The woman was suspected to be the drug queen operating in A. Lopez, Calamba as she was the source of illegal drug users in the place and nearby areas.

Lawmen added that the suspect was capable of disposing of three kilos of shabu and received her supply of illegal drugs through an inmate who is serving his sentence at the Abuyog Penal Colony in Leyte.

Police said the woman was arrested in 2019 for illegal drug offense but was released in July 2022 after she posted bail.
