Pending ratification, the Mapua University triple gold medalist in NCAA Season 99, leapt 2.21 meters for the silver medal to eclipse his one-year-old mark of 2.20m he established at the 2023 Philippine National Games held in Manila.

Chinese Taipei’s Ye Po-Ting claimed the gold medal with 2.25m, while Chatchai Nil of Thailand bagged the bronze with 2.07m.

Also competing in the said tournament are Janry Ubas in men’s long jump, Michael Del Prado in men’s 400m, Hussein Loraña in men’s 800m, Bernalyn Bejoy in women’s 800m, Sarah Dequinan in women’s long jump and heptathlon, Abcd Agamanos in triple jump and Frederick Ramirez in men’s 400m.

They are accompanied by coaches Dario De Rosas, Djundi Binas and Jojo Posadas.
