J.P. Morgan, a global finance company, continued to support the skills upgrading program of the Filipino workers initiated by the government’s Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and non-governmental organization Bayan Academy.
In a statement, TESDA and Bayan cited J.P. Morgan as a beacon of change in transforming lives and industries the nation through #InDemandPH.
Already, #InDemandPH has left an indelible mark, equipping over 13,000 individuals with essential skills across three priority sectors. These sectors, including IT-BPM, construction, manufacturing, and transportation and logistics represent the cornerstone of the Philippine economy's growth trajectory.
The heart of #InDemandPH lies in its ability to understand the workforce's challenges and provide tailored solutions, ensuring participants become not just skilled but highly sought-after in their respective fields. This transformative journey extends beyond mere training; it's about preparing individuals for the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where emerging jobs redefine traditional roles.

Carlo Godoy, a 30-year-old IT Specialist at the Philippine Navy, found his calling through #InDemandPH. His transition from military service to cybersecurity professional underscores the program's impact.
“The training was transformative. It equipped me with practical skills, making me industry-ready,” said Carlo.
Carlo, alongside his team, spearheaded an innovative research titled “Cybersecurity Scientometric Analysis: Mapping of Scientific Articles using Scopus API for Data Mining and Webscraping.” They entered their project in an international competition such as the 2022 5th International Conference on Data Science and Information Technology (DSIT), and its related event, the International Conference on Data Mining and Big Data Analytics (DMBDA).
Their findings shed light on the complex world of cybersecurity research, providing valuable insights for the Philippines' security posture. “The mentors and professors of Bayan Academy, through their expertise and encouragement, played a pivotal role in this achievement,” Carlo added.
Nicole Jehru R. Diego, a 32-year-old software developer, echoed similar sentiments after joining the Data Analytics Course. “It expanded my knowledge and gave me insights on data analysis," Nicole expressed. His ambition to raise awareness on cybersecurity issues reflects the program's broader impact on societal challenges.
On the other hand, Jordan Lerit, a 32-year-old Senior IT Specialist, credits #InDemandPH for enhancing his analytical skills and opening new career opportunities. "It increased my value to my company by contributing to its strategic goals," Jordan emphasized.
Beyond individual success stories, #InDemandPH has reshaped industries and strengthened partnerships. With an impressive 11,000 participants earning credentials, certifications, or licensure, employability has soared. The average monthly wage for those placed or promoted is US$303 (approximately P16,665), uplifting lives and communities nationwide. Over 10,000 beneficiaries are now gainfully employed, contributing to economic growth.
