Kapuso broadcaster Arnold Clavio is recovering after he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke last June 11.

Arnold, 58, detailed his health scare on Instagram on June 14.

The popular broadcaster mentioned that he experienced severe numbness in his right arm and leg while returning from a golf game. Igan said he couldn't even feel stepping on the gas pedal and braking.

From Antipolo, he carefully drove on the Sumulong highway until he arrived at the Emergency Room of Fatima University Medical Center.

After conducting several tests, it was recommended that he undergo a CT scan. There it was found that he had a "slight bleeding" on the left side of my brain. And at that time, he had a 'hemorrhagic stroke!'

The Mayo Clinic said hemorrhagic stroke occurs when a blood vessel leaks or ruptures in the brain.

Brain hemorrhages can result from many conditions that affect your blood vessels, including uncontrolled high blood pressure, bulges at weak spots in the blood vessel walls, trauma, such as a car accident, or overtreatment of blood thinners.

Hemorrhagic strokes are less common than ischemic strokes, but they are more fatal. Treatment options for hemorrhagic stroke include surgical clipping and coiling of the blood vessels. Patients require close monitoring at the hospital.

Igan was transferred to St. Luke's Medical Hospital for observations.

Following the health scare, Igan encouraged the public to check their blood pressure regularly.

"Feeling ok does not mean you're ok. Feeling good does not mean we’re good. Listen to your body. Traydor ang hypertension! Always check your BP," Igan wrote on Instagram. His full post:
