Villar siblings provide family food packs to ‘Aghon’ victims


TAYABAS CITY, Quezon – Sen. Mark Villar and sister Las Pinas City Rep. Camille Villar have sent family food packs to 574 residents here who were victims of typhoon “Aghon.”

Recipients were from Barangays Wakas, Tongko, Ilayang Nangka, Ibabang Nangka, and Potol.

Mayor Lovely Reynoso-Pontioso, who requested these family food packs, assured that the local government will not stop looking for ways and seeking help from government agencies and government officials to support victims of the calamity.

Present during the distribution were city councilors Dino Romero and Luz Cuadra, former Association of Barangay Captain (ABC) president Rommel Barrot, former city councilor Precy Glorioso, Engineer Barwin Labita, Gianinna Czareena Chaves, and Jerrome Calosa, representing the Villars.

The day before, Monday, June 10, 450 individuals here who were affected by Aghon also received family food packs from Sen. Mark.

Pontioso distributed the relief packs coursed through the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Region 4-A.
