Palawan Group taps self-service payment kiosk operator

The Palawan Group of Companies, the country’s leading money remittance and pawning services, has formed a partnership with Pay&Go, operator of the 24-hour self-service payments kiosks, to ensure real time mobile phones and e-wallet transaction of its customers.

PalawanPay head Third Librea said that with the partnership, its customers can conveniently cash in their accounts by using any of Pay&Go over 2,000 kiosks nationwide. This partnership did not come at a more opportune time since most Filipinos have transitioned to using digital wallets as their mode of payments.

"We at Palawan always look for ways to make things easier for our customers. With Pay&Go, we are expanding our reach, and at the same time, we are giving our clients more options and access to our services," said Librea.

Mariel Medina, chief commercial officer for Pay&Go, said the partnership is a big step not just for their clients but for the two firms. “Our target in the next five years is to expand our network of kiosks to 5,000 across the country," she said.

PalawanPay, which has already reached more than 18 million downloads, promises a win-win situation for its users, making bills payment, mobile load purchasing, or pawn renewal easy with just a few taps on their mobile phones.
