Laborer gunned down in construction site

LUCENA CITY, Quezon â€“ An 18-year-old construction worker was shot dead in a construction site on Quezon Ave. in Barangay 4, this city, on Saturday morning, June 1.

Newly installed Lucena police chief Police Lt. Col. William Angway identified the victim as Reymark Molina, 18, of Barangay Lekap Butao, San Fabian, Pangasinan.

Police said the victim was standing in front of the construction site when a man appeared from behind and shot him in the head.

Molina fell on a pit filled with water and died on the spot.

The suspect, who escaped on foot, was wearing a light brown hoodie jacket, shorts, and a body bag.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and manhunt operation.
