The IPPO is under the supervision of officer-in-charge Police Col. Bayani Razalan pending the preferred choice of Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. on the next provincial police chief.

Wanky did not visit the IPPO was it was under Police Col. Ronaldo Palomo who was replaced by Razalan last April 19.

Wanky cited the poor performance of the IPPO under Palomo after there was no accomplishment in the anti-gambling campaign after the license of 7 Aces Games and Amusement Corp. as the only company authorized to legally operate the Small Town Lottery (STL) in the province’s 42 towns and component city of Passi was revoked in March.

He urged units under IPPO to prioritize campaigns against illegal drugs, illegal gambling, and cybercrime.

Wanky urged the police to perform with integrity and avoid temptations.
