Reigning Most Valuable Player and national team pool member Louie Ramirez and Cebuano Jeffrey Marapoc showed the way as the Atlas spikers finished their eliminations campaign with a perfect 9-0 record which was enough to get the outright finals spot in the men's volleyball tournament.

The Las Pinas-based squad also got ample contributions from middle blockers Michael Medalla, Kc Andrade, open hitters Kobe Tabuga, setter JC Enarciso and libero John Phillip Pepito.

Ramirez tallied 20 points, Jeff Marapoc contributed 13 points, while setter JC Enarcisco listed 19 excellent sets.

"Actually, Pinaghandaan talaga namin ito sa training and scout their games to get this win. Mabuti naman at na-execute namin ang mga plays we prepared on our practices," said Perpetual head coach Sammy Acaylar.

Perpetual, which is being handled by Dr. Tony Tamayo, aims to win their 14th league title to surpass Letran's haul of 13 crowns.
