Call center agent killed in motorcycle accident

BACOLOD CITY â€“ A call center agent died and his twin brother was injured in a motorcycle accident in Barangay Canturay, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, May 1.

Police withheld the name of the victims aged 22.

Police Lt. Col. Fernando Somblingo Jr., Sipalay police chief, said the victims were riding a motorcycle on their way to work when they avoided a dog that suddenly crossed the road.

They lost control over the motorcycle and swerved to the opposite lane. A closed van tried to avoid them but they were run over by the vehicle.

They were taken to a hospital where one of them was declared dead. The other twin sustained minor injuries.

Somblingo said that both parties reached a settlement and the van driver had been released from police custody.
