18 super health centers to be built in Quezon


LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Mayor Rhadam Aguilar of Agdangan, Quezon thanked Sen. Christopher Go for granting his request to build a super health center in his town.

Agdangan is among the 18 town in this province that will have super health centers. Several are under construction in Sariaya, Tayabas City, Dolores, Tiaong, and Tagkawayan.

Aguilar attended the distribution of the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) for 2,000 beneficiaries in Lucena City on Friday, May 24, at the Quezon Convention Center here.

Recipients were from the urban poor, barangay health workers, and job order employees of the city government who received P2,500 each.

Five-hundred Tulong Pangkabuhayan para sa Ating Disadvantaged (TUPAD) workers underwent orientation and they will each earn P5,200 after working for 10 days.

Cash assistance totaled P7.6 million. 

Go also distributed grocery packs, 200 basketballs, three bicycles, three cell phones, and six pairs of shoes for boys and girls.

He urged Aguilar and other mayors of Quezon to tell their constituents to visit and avail of free services provided by Malasakit Centers in public hospitals in Quezon.
