When it comes to the ultimate karaoke song that is always played at every Filipino party, one song comes to mind: Kitchie Nadal's medley.

A compilation of her greatest hits combined into one song that evokes both happiness and sadness, allowing every singer to unleash their voices during a karaoke night.

During the media conference for her 20th anniversary concert, held at the Awakening Church in Malabon, Kitchie shared that she only performed her medley once when they were in Japan.

"Sa totoo lang, isang beses ko lang ginawa yun, many many years ago nung nagpunta kami ng japan. Since bago pa nga ako nun, and we had to perform on small bars, but one time sa isang bar wala silang gamit nun and all they had was a Karaoke and they look for my song. Ayun yung kinanta ko and hindi na siya naulit," Kitchie said.

(Actually, I only did it once, many, many years ago, when we went to Japan. Since I was still new, we had to perform in small bars, but one time in a bar they didn't have that equipment, and all they had was a karaoke. They looked for my song, and that's what I sang, and it never happened again)

Kitchie's medley became one of the go-to songs of every Pinoy family while doing karaoke.
