These land titles are under the DAR's Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) which enhances rural development and the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project that ensures the security of land tenure by eventually providing individual e-titles.

The Palace said the event was part of the region-wide distribution of the government’s land tenure security program for landless farmers through the provision of individual land titles and support services to ARBs.
