Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) achieved a medical milestone by becoming the first private hospital to partner with the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) for an integrated blood supply and medical services development program.

At a signing ceremony held at the PNRC headquarters in Mandaluyong City on May 14, 2024, the PNRC committed to providing a steady and sufficient blood supply to CSMC patients. Both parties will collaborate to enhance and extend their medical services during emergencies, calamities, and mass casualty incidents (MCIs).

PNRC Chair and former senator Richard Gordon and CSMC President and CEO Raul C. Pagdanganan led the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement, emphasizing the importance of addressing challenges related to blood supply and the efficient delivery of integrated medical services.

The synergy between CSMC and PNRC aims to enhance healthcare standards in the country and improve the delivery of safe, effective, and life-saving medical care for Filipinos.
