Parañaque LGU holds 'Zumba Saya' dance contest

The local government of Parañaque City conducted the “Zumba Saya sa Duty Free” dance contest last May 18 in coordination with the Duty Free Philippines.

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the colorful dance contest, which was participated in by nine barangays in the city, was part of the 37^th anniversary celebration of Duty Free Philippines. .

The event held at Fiesta Mall of Duty Free Philippines in Barangay Sto. Nino was also a project of City Toursim Office under Melquides Alipo-on.

He said aside from showing the best dance performances of nine participants, the Duty Free Philippines also offered a 50% discount on a huge selection of items from May 17 to 19, 2024.

The Duty Free Philippines also extends their anniversary celebration online by giving discounts of up to 10% for available items on its e-commerce platform https://dutyfreephilippines.com.ph from May 15 to 30.

Olivarez said winners in the dance contest were Barangay San Isidro, the champion; BF Homes, the first runner-up; and Don Bosco, the second runner-up.
