Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, together with Vice Mayor Robert “Dodot” Jaworski Jr., led the program initially benefiting 170 senior citizens.

During the house-to-house visitation, Sotto said the city's health workers conducted check-ups, updated prescriptions, and delivered the beneficiaries' maintenance medicines.

Jaworski said they also talked to the elderly to personally hear  their needs.

“Sa ating pag-iikot, kinausap po natin ang mga senior citizens para marinig at mahanapan ng solusyon ang kanilang mga pain points pagdating sa pag-avail ng healthcare service sa ating lungsod (During the house-to-house visits, we talked with senior citizens to hear and find solutions to their pain points when it comes to availing healthcare services in our city),” he said.

Sotto stated that the program will prioritize senior citizens aged 75 and above, elderly people living far from health centers, and patients who have a hard time visiting centers due to their illnesses.

He also said that the program will be extended to 30 other barangays after the program's pilot run.

He added that they will next conduct annual physical examinations of the beneficiaries.

Jaworski said that they are now organizing the logistics and operations of the delivery and will make sure that the information distribution and services are smooth and fair for everyone.

Meanwhile, Sotto thanked Jaworski, Congressman Roman Romulo, and the City Council for doing much of the coordination and planning work with the City Health Department.
