Antipolo LGU offers free mass baptism for kids on June 6

Children who have not been baptized, 7 to 12 years old, and residents of Antipolo City, may avail of the free baptism being offered by the city government of Antipolo and the International Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, otherwise known as the Antipolo Cathedral.

The office of Mayor Casimiro "Junjun" Ynares III announced that the mass baptism, dubbed as "Binyagang Bayan" will be officiated by no less than Antipolo Bishop Ruperto C. Santos on June 6, 2024.

In order to avail of the free baptism, a letter of intent addressed to Mayor Ynares, a valid ID of the parent or parents, either voter or national ID, the latest Negative Record of Birth certification issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and the child’s Form 137 record (school record) must be submitted to the Office of the City Civil Registrar (OCCR) at the third floor of the Antipolo City Hall Main Building on or before May 29, 2024.

The city government will also assist in the birth registration of the child should he or she has not yet been registered with the PSA.

The mass baptism has been a regular project of the city government in partnership with the Antipolo Cathedral.

Inquiries may be addressed to the OCCR by contacting its numbers, 8689-4562 or 09214785889 or sending an email, at [email protected] or through its Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/registry.antipolo.
