"This mural symbolizes the rich relationship between the city and the Baguio Filipino-Chinese community and in support of the promotion of tourism towards the prosperous economy of each," said Ng.

Chow said the artwork which is now a tourist sttraction here serves as a living testament to the deep connection between the two cultures, celebrating shared traditions, customs, and values.

He said at the heart of this mural lies a captivating story, a story that transcends borders and binds the two people in admiration.

"Imagine a scene where the graceful movements of a Chinese opera actress and the powerful steps of an actor captivate the audience with their timeless performance, weaving stories of love, honor, and resilience."

“This Chinoy mural painting is more than a work of art. It is a testament to the eternal bond between our two cultures, a reminder of the beauty that appears to come together in harmony and mutual respect," Chow said.
