Cops nab 95 law violators in Tarlac

CAMP Gen. Francisco Macabulos, Tarlac City â€“ Police arrested 95 law violators from May 12 to 18 in this province.

Thirty-nine wanted persons were nabbed and 33 individuals were apprehended for illegal gambling. Seized from the suspected illegal gamblers were P16,141 in bet money.

Four individuals were arrested during police response.

Nineteen suspected drug pushers were caught during buy-bust operations and recovered from them were 10.92 grams of suspected shabu worth P74,276.40.

Meanwhile, A 14-year-old student and 57-year-old vendor drowned in Ilocos Norte and Pangasinan recently.

Police said student Francis James Carter of Dingras, Ilocos Norte was swimming in an irrigation canal and was carried away by the raging water.

The victim was rescued and taken to the Dingras District Hospital where he was declared dead.

Vendor Ricky Nadal Caoile of Barangay Samat, Bugallon, Pangasinan dived into a river following a drinking session with friend Lorenzo Bravo Aquino where he discussed his family problems.

Caoile went missing and his body is yet to be recovered.
