At the recent International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines, held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) in Pasay City, one of Brunei’s food companies, A.Ayam Berjaya Sdn Bhd, introduced its products to the Philippine market for the first time. These products include A.Ayam’s sauces: Indonesian-style Sambal Geprek, Borneo Kolo Mee Sauces, and the all-purpose Black Pepper Sauce, all developed and manufactured in Brunei.
At the same occasion, A.Ayam Berjaya Sdn Bhd signed an agreement with Gate Distribution Enterprise Inc. to become its distributor for the Philippines.
“This day marks a significant milestone for A. Ayam as its export-ready fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) make their first landfall in the Philippines,” shared H.E. Megawati Dato Paduka Haji Manan, Ambassador of the Brunei Embassy. The Philippines represents A. Ayam's second Southeast Asian market entry, following Singapore.
