Maja Salvador’s latest commercial is making its rounds online thanks to its humorous content that only Pinoys will understand.

Filipinos usually repeat words in a tone especially if it’s hifalutin or has deep meaning. In Tagalog, “nilaro nila ‘yung ad,” and now it’s getting the attention it deserves.

Having her fair share of viral memes (remember the “Sandale!” meme with a picture of Maja screaming her lungs out from her previous teleserye, Wildflower?), her latest hair commercial adds another one, which can easily make it as one of her most shared photos online. Some even claim this is the official meme of 2024!

X user @theramzoned makes this point, using Maja’s ad screenshot as a response to a message in his work group chat. It truly is a photo you can hear (can hear?!).
