Face-to-face classes resume in Bulacan

Due to the decrease in the heat index, the Provincial Government of Bulacan has has ordered the resumption of face-to-face classes in all levels in private and public schools in the province starting Monday, May 21.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando issued Memorandum No. ACC-05182024-245 addressed to city and municipal mayors in the province to implement the face-to-face modality of learning.

He said the drop in the heat index has prompted the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC)  recommend the resumption of face-to-face classes.

Fernando, however, reminded provincial executives to ensure that preventive measures are followed to avoid health problems for the students.

He said that while face-to-face classes are being implemented, Bulacan remains in the "Extreme Caution" category.

"Continue to take precautions and advise our students to bring water to drink," Fernando added.
