Recognizing Tarlac's promising prospects amid Central Luzon's advantageous position and thriving economy, Aboitiz InfraCapital is poised to tap into this potential. Drawing upon three decades of expertise as the nation's foremost industrial developer, Aboitiz InfraCapital aims to reshape the region by introducing Tari Estate, a new industrial development located in Tarlac City.

Situated across 200 hectares of prime industrial land in its initial phase, Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates launched Tari Estate in Tarlac City through a groundbreaking ceremony on May 7, 2024. This is the company's fourth economic estate after Lima Estate in Batangas, Mez2 Estate, and West Cebu Estate in Cebu.

Leading the ceremony were Sabin Aboitiz, president and CEO of Aboitiz Group; Cosette Canilao, president and CEO of Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc.; Rafael De Mesa, SVP and head of Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates; Tarlac City Mayor Cristina Angeles; Tereso Panga, director general of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority; and Sec. Alfredo Pascual from the Department of Trade and Industry.

“This project is one of the biggest fruits of our administration’s untiring efforts to ensure a truly business-friendly environment in Tarlac City. Our initiatives aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business and stimulating economic growth have bore fruit. We are glad that Aboitiz is one of our most valued partners in the realization of our development goals,” said Mayor Angeles.

Positioned for success
Strategically located in Central Luzon, accessible via various seaports, airports, and expressways, the development will be a one-stop shop for businesses and residents alike, offering residential spaces, transportation terminals, retail shops, and restaurants. It builds upon a framework of smart and sustainable development.

"Central Luzon has become a magnet for investment, boasting exceptional accessibility, a skilled workforce, and robust economic growth, positioning the region as the third-largest contributor to the national economy," De Mesa shared.

He added, "Our expansion into Tarlac underscores our confidence in Central Luzon's potential as a top-tier investment hub and reaffirms our commitment to supporting the government's vision."

Job opportunities for all
With the goal of generating employment opportunities, Aboitiz InfraCapital has played a key role in the industrial development of the Philippines for three decades. Its existing estates in Batangas and Cebu demonstrate this success, attracting leading industry players, driving substantial investments, and creating over 100,000 jobs.

Tari Estate is positioned to contribute to this ongoing success story as it is expected to drive economic growth and create jobs, with projections indicating the possibility of up to 60,000 new opportunities.

“The development of Tari Estate, along with the mission of attracting foreign investments to locate within the estate, will create employment for Tarlac City and nearby municipalities,” shared Sec. Pascual. “With the multiplier effect of this project, we’re confident that we can maximize the private sector investments to ensure the creation of livelihood and opportunities for the communities within the area,” he added.

More than just an industrial park
Tari Estate was envisioned as a holistic and vibrant ecosystem that features world-class facilities and amenities – power, water, construction, financing, smart city technology – readily available, all provided by trusted Aboitiz Group affiliates.

Tari Estate will combine different types of assets to create a lively lifestyle hub, which includes retail stores, offices, residential areas, dormitories, warehouses, and hospitality facilities. This offers a complete package that enhances the experience for businesses, residents, and visitors. All necessary amenities are available on-site.

Additionally, the development focuses on sustainability through measures such as using renewable energy sources, reducing transportation emissions, and implementing responsible waste management.

“Tari Estate is more than just an industrial park; it is a dynamic ecosystem designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth. By integrating diverse asset classes and leveraging cutting-edge technology, we aim to create a thriving community where businesses can flourish and individuals can thrive,” shared Clifford Academia, Lima Land, Inc. VP for operations.
