A Korean national died after he allegedly fell from a hotel on Adriatico Street in Malate, Manila on Wednesday, April 10.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the victim as alias Lee, 26, last billeted on the fifth floor of V Hotel in Malate, Manila.
According to the initial report, at around 7:55 a.m., the victim was found lying at the parking entrance of Adria Residences which is adjacent to the hotel.
Police said the deceased foreigner was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
A cellphone was also recovered at the scene, police added.
According to a hotel staff, the victim checked-in to the hotel on April 6 at around 5:29 p.m.
She said the victim was last seen alive on April 8 at around 7:35 p.m. paying his unit rent on the ground floor lobby.
Investigators said cursory examination of the victim revealed multiple physical injuries.
The body of the victim was brought to a Body and Light Funeral for autopsy and safekeeping.
Police said the investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
