2 drug suspects, one of them a minor, arrested in Pasay buy-bust


Two persons, one of them a child in conflict with the law (CICL), were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Southern Police District-Drug Enforcement Unit (SPD-DEU) in coordination with the Pasay City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Monday, April 8.

The SPD identified the arrested suspects who were both tagged as high value individuals (HVI) as alias Ata, 16; and Ced, 20.

Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay City police chief, said the suspects were arrested at around 5:00 p.m. along Celeridad St., Barangay 11, Pasay City.

Mayames said confiscated from the suspects were two plastic sachets with about 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000, 159 pieces of boodle money, and a cellular phone.

He said alias Ata was turned over to Bahay Pag-asa while alias Ced is now detained at the police custodial facility.

The city police chief also said the confiscated shabu was turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
