The Miss Universe Philippines Quezon City Organization announced on April 3 the withdrawal of Lorraine Ojimba, the city's bet to the prestigious beauty pageant.

Lorraine is the third delegate to pull out of the competition due to health reasons. The organization's full announcement as posted on social media:

"We understand how difficult it can be to withdraw from something you have worked hard for, and our heart goes out to Lorraine and everyone who supported her during her MUPh 2024 journey.

"While we are beyond grateful for everyone’s unwavering support, it saddens us to share that due to personal matters that are affecting Lorraine's mental and physical well-being, she has decided to withdraw from the pageant.

"We want to assure everyone that this decision was made after careful consideration, prioritizing Lorraine’s health above all. We are grateful for your understanding and kindness during this time, and we hope to have your continued support as Lorraine navigates on to her new journey.

Fifty-five delegates are competing in Miss Universe Philippines 2024 contest. The winner will represent the Philippines at the 2024 Miss Universe Competition in Mexico.
