A fire hit a residential area at Blk. 37, Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City on Monday, April 29, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
According to the BFP, the blaze started at 11:44 a.m. and reached the second alarm at 11:58 a.m.
First responders declared fire out at 12:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old fire volunteer was brought to the hospital after suffering from difficulty in breathing and suffocation while the fire was ongoing.
Arson investigators are still determining the cause of the fire and the amount of damage to property.
