The Association of Tourism Officers (ATO) in National Capital Region (NCR) promoted the tourist spots in Metro Manila at the 12th Macao International Travel Expo on April 25.

Paul Ahljay San Miguel, head of the Las Piñas City Tourism and Cultural Office, said that during their visit to Macao, a benchmarking was held led by Sharlene Batin, director of the Department of Tourism in the NCR, along with Philippine Macao Consul General Porfirio Mayo Jr.

San Miguel said the benchmarking was also part of their group study to know the best practises of others countries in promoting their tourist destinations.

He said during the expo, their group promoted Metro Manila as a destination choice for foreign tourists in the Philippines.
