American singer Taylor Swift has once again etched her name in history with her latest album, 'Tortured Poets Department,' becoming the first album to amass a staggering one billion streams on Spotify.

"On April 22, 2024, Taylor Swift's THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single week. The album has surpassed 1 Billion streams since release," according to Spotify News on X on April 25.

According to a report by billboard.com, the same album also earned more first-day streams than any other pop album in Apple Music history upon its release.
