Thai actor Bright Vachirawit’s girlfriend has issued a statement after the star revealed on April 22 that they are in a relationship.
Bright admitted that he is dating Thai singer Pornnappan Pornpenpipat, aka Nene, after they were seen together in Japan.
Videos and photos showed Bright (ไบร์ท) and Nene (เนเน่), both 26, holding hands while walking in Japan. They were also seen having a meal in a restaurant.

“I just wanted to clarify a few things, especially for my fans who are always so caring and curious about how I am doing—yes, we are really dating,” Bright posted on X (formerly Twitter).
At the gala premiere of the Thai film “Love You to Debt” starring Bright and Urassaya Sperbund, Thai media outlet Thairath asked him about his relationship with Nene.
When Thairath asked Bright, “Have you asked her to be your girlfriend yet?,” Bright replied, "I have. (So now you can call her your girlfriend?) Yes."
After Bright revealed his relationship, he lost 51,000 followers on Instagram.
According to Social Blade, Bright had 18,766,777 followers on Instagram as of April 21. On April 22, when he revealed his relationship, his Instagram followers decreased by 23,845 to 18,742,932.
As of this writing, Bright’s Instagram followers totaled 18,715,742 or a decrease of 51,035 since April 21.
After Bright admitted his relationship with Nene on X, Nene took to Instagram to explain.

So, about the recent articles - yes, I’m currently in a relationship. Sorry for not being able to share this with you earlier before it made the news. You know me, I usually keep my personal life separate from my music because my focus is always on spreading love and positivity through my music and performances for all of you wonderful people.
