CAVITE – The local government unit (LGU) of Bacoor City will implement a four-day compressed workweek for select city government departments in the next four months.
In a Facebook announcement, the city government said the work schedule shift is a proactive step to “reduce our city's electricity and water consumption during the peak of the summer season and to improve overall productivity.”
From April 22 to August 31, certain departments will adopt an adjusted work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
