The Volcanoes accumulated 47.80 points at 40th place to become the best-ranked nation in the region. Malaysia follows at No. 50 (45.14 points), Singapore (54th, 44.05), Thailand (80th, 35.49), Laos (93rd, 30.0) and Indonesia (108th, 21.95).
South Africa topped the list with 94.54 points, while Ireland (2nd, 90.69), New Zealand (3rd, 89.90), France (4th, 87.92) and England (5th, 85.75) completed the Top 5.
The Nationals landed at ninth spot in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games after finishing with a 2-3 record. Hong Kong claimed the gold medal, while South Korea and Japan settled for silver and bronze, respectively.
Meanwhile, the PH women’s team has 33.16 points at 58th place.
