Las Piñas to showcase best 'kakanin,' Pinoy breakfast at Flavors of NCR


The Las Piñas Tourism and Cultural Office (LPTCO) said the Association of Tourism Officer (ATO)- National Capital Region (NCR) will hold the 3rd Flavors of NCR food festival on April 19 to 20 at the Filinvest City Central Park, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Paul Ahljay San Miguel, head of the LPTCO, said the food festival will showcase different unique cuisines from 16 cities and one municipality in Metro Manila.

San Miguel said Las Piñas City will feature best Pinoy breakfast and “kakanin” in the city during the holding of  the Flavors of NCR.

He said Kainan ni Basty-Jacob that serves “Tapsilog” and other mouthwatering delights will once again represent the city in the food festival.

The LPTCO chief said the city will also showcase in the food festival “Bea’s home of quality kakanin and other delicacies” and the “Mhanengs Putobumbong”.

San Miguel said the “Beas’" serves quality kakanin and other delectable treats crafted with care and tradition.

He said the Mhanengs Putobumbong serves Filipino purple rice cake steamed in bamboo tubes, a beloved tradition that brings joy and warmth during the holiday season.

The LPTCO chief said the ATO holds Flavors of NCR to promote food tourism that will help Metro Manila cities promote their best food to both local and foreign tourist and visitors.
