Gela Atayde has denied speculation about her sister, actress Ria Atayde, being pregnant.
Note that Ria is engaged to be married to boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo.
According to rumors, Zanjoe's proposal came after they found out Ria is pregnant.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Gela said, "For now, no (hindi buntis)."
She was quick to add however, that the two are already "trying" to have a baby this early.
"They’re trying, that’s for sure," she said. "My sister has PCOS and it would be a miracle if she has a child."
If ever Ria gets pregnant, she and the rest of their family have no problem about it.
Gela related, "My parents also are supportive for that. My sister nga kasi is at the age — turning 32 this year — medyo kailangan na din."
Ria and Zanjoe announced their engagement via social media last Feb. 20.
Gela related, "I love how Kuya Z proposed to her. He just did it in bed, just both of them, just woke up, so we weren’t there."
