In a Facebook post, the OP said Guevara died early March 29.

"The Office of the President extends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of SEC Commissioner and former Senior Deputy Executive Secretary, Atty. Hubert Dominic Guevara, who joined our Creator earlier today," it wrote.

The OP said Guevara would be remembered as a friend by everyone he worked with.

"Former SDES Guevara will be remembered for his spirit, dedication, and exemplary service to the Filipino people," it said.

"He will remain fondly in the memory of all who had the privilege of working with him and calling him a friend," it added.

Born July 6, 1967, Guevara joined the Marcos administration as Senior Deputy Executive Secretary. President Marcos moved him to the SEC as one of its commissioners in February 2024.

Guevara was a partner at ACALaw.

He served as the director of its Compliance and Enforcement Department in 2004.
