Netizens offer proof of escalating 'tension' between Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach

Some netizens insist a "silent war" is raging between Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach.

The issue was revived with Pia posting a statement of sorts relating women empowerment on social media recently as part of a fashion campaign.

It read, “While others deny us a seat at the table, we’re creating our own space, paving the way for others to follow."

She added, “Irrelevant after the crown? I fought for my place to be so much more.”

Observers say this is a belated response to Heart's social media post not long ago: A photo of a bag with the book “Don’t Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table” by Louie Giglio.

She captioned it with: “Not Today."

Note the two are now making waves in the global fashion arena with Heart's former glam team moving on to work with the former Miss Universe titleholder.

So is there bad blood between the two?

Netizens believe so, this, even if Heart already cleared in interviews prior that she is not competing against anyone but herself.

Pia herself has kept mum.

"Seat at the table...? Kanino ba ang Fashion Week? Sa yo lang Heart?"

"We can't deny na may konting alitan. Dahil na rin siguro sa dating glam team ni H. Baka sinusulsulan si Pia!"

“Taray ng campaign. Nakakaloka lang ang ibang tao dito. Bakit laging kinokonek kay heart?"

"If I know Pia hindi yan palaaway. Si Heart naman pa-victim ang usual. Well, sana ngaa walang away but I smell something hahaha..."
