CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 has deployed 1,000 police officers to secure the “summer” vacation in Central Luzon.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said they are fully prepared to implement the summer security plan “Ligtas Sumvac 2024” from April 1 to May 31.
Hidalgo directed city and provincial directors of the various police provincial and city police offices to ensure the safe travel of motorists and commuters during the summer vacation.
He said there will be increased foot and mobile patrols as well as Police Assistance Desks and Centers.
Road safety marshals will be stationed in bus terminals, airports, seaports, recreational areas, highways, main thoroughfares, and crime-prone areas to ensure optimal police presence, Hidalgo added.
