Man drowns in Ilocos Sur river

CAOAYAN, Ilocos Sur – A 55-year-old man drowned on a river in Barangay Pandan here on Friday night, March 22.

Police identified the victim as Samuel Abrogena.

Abrogena’s body was found floating by residents before dawn on Saturday, March 23.

He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The victim was last seen drinking liquor in the area. 

Police said there is no foul play in the victim’s death.
