In a world where the echoes of live concerts have faded into distant memories, the resplendent voice of Dulce, Asia's Timeless Diva, shattered the silence with a force that resonated for almost four hours of non-stop singing.

Her recent concert at the Music Museum was not just a performance; it was a revival, a celebration of music, and a testament to the enduring power of talent.

Dulce's vocal prowess knows no bounds, as evidenced by her wide vocal range and career-defining repertoire, which were showcased throughout the evening.

From her breathtaking renditions of Diana Ross and Barbra Streisand suites to her soul-stirring performances of movie theme songs, each note was a journey through film and music history, illuminated by Dulce's radiant presence.

One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly Dulce's collaboration with her daughters, Jem and Abby, a testament to the enduring legacy of good music that runs through generations.

Their harmonies intertwined seamlessly, weaving a tapestry of familial love and musical brilliance. It was an apt piece for everything they’ve gone through as a family. This is likewise the first time they performed in a concert together - and I feel they should be doing this more often.

Moreover, Dulce's willingness to embrace new challenges was evident in her rendition of relatively new songs like "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" and "Leaves," proving that her artistry remains as vibrant and relevant as ever.

The concert also paid homage to the late George Canseco. Dulce breathed new life into his timeless classics such as "Salamin ng Buhay" and the revamped version of "Ako Ang Nagwagi."

Joined by the legendary Rey Valera, whose own performance was stellar, the evening celebrated Filipino musical heritage at its finest.

As a Cebuano talent, Dulce's Visayan suite poignantly reminded her of her roots, captivating the audience with the richness of her heritage and the depth of her artistry.

Beyond her vocal prowess, Dulce's ability to engage and inspire through storytelling was equally captivating. Her anecdotes and insights provided glimpses into the heart and soul behind the music, leaving the audience both enchanted and enriched. In the end,

Dulce's concert was more than just a musical extravaganza; it was a healing prayer, a sanctuary where warriors, friends, and family gathered to bask in the warmth of her timeless talent and the joy of shared musical experience.

To Dulce Amor, writer Noel Ferrer, musical director Bobby Gomez, and concert director Calvin Murphy Neria, the masterminds behind this unforgettable production, heartfelt thanks are due for inviting us to be part of this remarkable journey.

In a world of countless shows, this one truly stands out as a beacon of excellence and inspiration. As the echoes of Dulce's melodies fade into the night, we are left with a sense of gratitude and wonder, knowing that for a fleeting moment, we were privileged to be part of something truly extraordinary.
