What started out as the release of their six special essential oil blends, K Essentials is now adding more products to their personal care range. From the makers of Katinko ointment comes a new product line that is run by principles of upholding tradition and improving sustainability efforts by working with indigenous tribes and farmers through locally sourced ingredients, and harnessing quality ingredients with Filipino scientists. 

"We wanted to explore powerful healing properties of natural ingredients. We also wanted to create a community-supportive brand where we can sustainably help grassroots communities by integrating their produce into our products," shares the K Essentials team. 

At the launch in Robinsons Magnolia, Quezon City last March 13, 2024, host Robi Domingo invited Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray on stage to talk about K Essentials. “Supporting local communities through giving sustainable livelihoods and investing into local products. So proud to have partnered up with K Essentials for their launch! Through purchasing direct from farmers, as well as buying Philippine textiles for their packaging, it was so touching to witness and hear directly from the beneficiary communities. Hoping to see many other Filipino brands follow in their footsteps.”

The first set of essential blend oils became the jump off point for the company to introduce more products such as Pure Castile Soap Bar, Castile Body & Hand Soap, Foaming Hand Soap, Beeswax Candle, and the Reed Diffuser. The K Essentials team adds, “Our products are made with natural ingredients and are sulfate and paraben-free, avoiding negative impacts on both your body and the environment.”

The six blends are Focus (orange, lemon, peppermint, eucalyptus, and tea tree oils for mental clarity), Refresh (peppermint, ginger, and tea tree oils that awaken and revitalize), Revive (lemongrass, vetiver, and tea tree oils for vitality and balance), Relax (lavender, cedarwood, cypress, tea tree oils that calms), Uplift (rosemary, basil, cedarwood, patchouli, and tea tree oils that energizes and uplifts), and Detox (frankincense, peppermint, turmeric, ginger, and tea tree oils which provides natural detoxification).
