Ten barangays are participating in the event where they display old or antique items at the old municipal building of Panglao.

Richard Duldulao, author of “Historya of Barrio Libaong” and member of the barangay council of Libaong, disclosed that he found the old Manila Daily Bulletin Page 11 at the back of an old mirror owned by his grandmother.

Duldulao said he decided to include the old newspaper page in the exhibit as he considers it a part of history.

He believes that the presence of the Manila Daily Bulletin page in his grandmother’s house showed that reading newspapers was part of the people's lives back then.

The Manila Daily Bulletin is the forefunner of the Manila Bulletin.
