The Foxies capitalized on their strong offense anchored on Trisha Tubu and Chinnie Arroyo to outplay the Solar Spikers and even their win-loss record at 1-1.

Tubu and Arroyo conspired for 22 kills to finish with 15 and 11 points as Farm Fresh also exposed Capital1’s weaknesses particularly on its offense.

Despite coach Roger Gorayeb shuffling his lineup to find the right combination, the Solar Spikers still had a hard time outplaying the Foxies as none of them scored in double figures.

Sydney Niegos was the lone bright spot for Capital1 with nine points including seven attacks, while the rest were limited to three points and below.

So dominant was Farm Fresh that it managed 47 kills and eight blocks compared to Capital1’s 26 attacks and four blocks.

It was evident in the second set where the Solar Spikers were limited to only seven attacks compared to the Foxies’ 15.

Capital1 also struggled in the service area with no player scoring a single ace from 52 attempts.

It also didn’t help that the Solar Spikers only managed nine excellent sets compared to 17 from the Foxies.

Capital1 fell to its second straight loss after bowing to Chery Tiggo on opening day.
