Parts of Tondo, Manila to experience power interruption on Feb. 21

The local government of Manila announced on Monday, Feb. 19, that some parts of Tondo, Manila, will experience power interruption on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

According to the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), the power interruption is due to the line reconstruction works along Vitas Street in Tondo.

It said that the interruption will start from 12:01 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the following areas:

Portion of Velasquez Street (from the First Tondo Complex to the Velasquez Infanta Bridge)
Portion of Ugbo Street (from Velasquez Street to Jacinto Street, including Varona Street)
Portion of Vitas Street (from Ugbo Street to Vitas Bridge, including Urban Deca Homes, Vitas Cockpit Arena, Vitas Skate Park and Aquatics, Vitas Meat Slaughter House, and Vitas Veterinary Inspection Board)
Portion of Roxas Street (from Jacinto Street to Bonifacio and Jose P. Rizal Streets)
A portion of Mel Lopez Boulevard (Radial Road 10) from Bonifacio Street to Fernando Magallanes Street (including Petron Gas Station and Tondominium).
