BTS’ J-Hope to release special album, docu series on Prime Video

J-Hope, a member of the popular K-pop boy band BTS who is currently serving in the military, will be releasing an album and a docu series in March.
Big Hit Music announced on Feb. 18 the date of release of “Hope on the Street Vol. 1,” a special album by J-Hope.

“‘Hope on the Street Vol. 1’ is a special album featuring a total of six tracks and will be released alongside ““Hope on the Street,” a docuseries that trails J-Hope’s dance journey,” Big Hit Music said.
The album will be released at 1 PM KST on March 29. Pre-orders will start on Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. KST.
Meanwhile, the docu series “Hope on the Street” will premiere on Prime Video on March 28.

J-Hope turned 30 on Feb. 18. He is currently fulfilling his military service. He enlisted on April 18 last year and will be discharged on Oct. 17 this year.
The “Hope on the Street Vol. 1” special album is based on street dance, J-Hope’s artistic roots, and will have six songs.
Before enlisting in the military, he visited Osaka, Paris, France, New York, and Seoul and Gwangju in South Korea, and had meaningful time communicating through dance with dancers of various genres.
The “Hope on the Street” docu series will have six episodes with new episodes released every Thursday and Friday. It will be released in South Korea on TVING, an OTT service, and in 240 countries and regions through Prime Video.
