With the P-pop community getting more and more attraction from fans across the globe, some fans can get a little out of hand when it comes to protecting or supporting their idols.

Fan wars among P-pop groups have been taking over social media platforms. It started with petty comments from other fan groups and eventually became a big issue.

For the P-pop group Alamat, seeing fan wars online worries them, and they tell their fans not to engage in such behavior.

"To be honest concern kami sa kanila, kasi they don't need to fight actually kasi kami mismo dito sa P-pop community magkakaibigan kami. So let's just love and support each other," Alamat Jao said during their n "Ragasa" press conference held last Nov. 7

(To be honest, we are concerned with them, because they don't need to fight actually because we are friends here in the P-pop community. So let's just love and support each other)

According to Alas, he wants to convey to the fans that there is no competition among them, as they all aim to showcase their talents.

"Need na tanggalin sa mindset ng ibang tao yung competition talaga kasi ang hangad lang namin dito is magtulungan and mag showcase ng talents namin as P-pop group," Alamat Alas said.

(We really need to remove the competition from other people's mindset because all we want here is to work together and showcase our talents as a P-pop group)

Mo, R-Jl, and Taneo all agree that fan wars should not exist in the P-pop community.

Alamat through the years

Debuting in 2021, the group quickly emerged in the P-pop scene. They showcased their talent and proudly represented their hometowns in various parts of the Philippines.

As they celebrate three years together as a group, Alamat shared the most important lessons they've learned from one another.

"It's actually not a bad thing for us, kasi other people think that magkaclash yung personalities namin but it's actually the opposite. We learn so much from each other and to overcome so much challenges," Alamat Jao said.

Being with Alamat made R-Jl more open to learning and considering his groupmates' opinions.

"With the help of Alamat, I showed my full potential as an artist, so every day for me is still a lesson. I'm always thirsty for that lesson to learn every day," Alamat R-Jl said.

For Mo, one of his biggest learnings was being considerate and open with each other.

"Hindi lang namin kilala yung sa isa't-isa pagdating sa artistry, pati na rin sa personal life na rin, marami kaming natutunan sa isa't isa, growth and understanding. Marami pang aspeto ng bagay, maraming talagang natutunan sa isa't-isa nung hinayaan namin yung sarili namin maging mapagkumbaba," Alamat Mo said.

(We not only know each other when it comes to artistry but also in personal life, we learned a lot from each other, growth and understanding. There are many other aspects of things, we learned a lot from each other when we allowed ourselves to be humble)
