The Parañaque City government announced that its Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) will offer a free caregiving training to 15 to 25 trainees residing in the city.
Individuals will be trained in caregiving for the elderly at the NC II level
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said interested residents who wanted to avail the free training for caregiving may register at https://forms.gle/yEnpSJMZtjzqLdAaA.
Olivarez said applicants may also visit the PESO office from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to apply.
Applicants will undergo training for 561 hours or 71 days and eight hours a day for training from Monday to Friday must be 18 years old and above.
The mayor also said that after finishing the training, applicants will undergo 20 days or 160 to 561 hours on the job training after finishing the course.
Olivarez encouraged the residents to grab the opportunity for them to have the opportunity to work abroad if they wanted to.
